Very impressed! Cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at!

Hotel was extremely clean and staff was very friendly! We arrived the day that Hurricane/Tropical Storm Rita was suppose to hit and the hotel took all the proper precautions. The rooms are a little outdated and definetly need to be redecorated, but a very nice hotel. Downtown Cabo San Lucas is only a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel.

Great location, no party hotel, fabulous for 40-60 age group!

When traveling alone as a single person, we want to feel secure. This was exactly the ’home’ away from home that I needed to make me feel safe and welcomed. The staff went out of their way for me....the concierge actually gave me a going away gift when I was leaving the hotel! Although I never ate at the hotel, there are many restaurants around the convenient location of Pueblo Bonito Blanco. Walmart is a short (bus) ride away - but I do recommend taking a taxi back to the hotel (bags in your hands). I went during hurricane season (yikes) - and experienced first hand the force of Tropical Storm Patricia. That said, the staff continually kept the guests up-to-date with what was going on. Information was readily available and very accommodating. Downtown Cabo is within a 15 minute walk - completely safe to do so (although I didn’t venture alone anytime after 11pm). Everything you need is within a short walk away! This hotel caters to the 40-5o-60 crowd. I was alone (early 40’s). It gave me plenty of ’down time’ to read a couple of books, walk on the beach (swimmable btw) and relax without being disturbed by party goers. The only negative thing are the timeshare people and the numerous vendors selling you anything they can....a firm "no gratias" will do!. I will definitely go back to P.Bonito Blanco!

We love this hotel and so will you

The location of this hotel is one of the best. There are only 6 resort on the "best" part of Medano Beach this being 1 of them. It’s close to all the beach bars, the Marina and downtown, you can walk everywhere. We’ve stayed here 3 times.

Traveler's tip on dining

There’s a great restaurant in downtown called DESPARADOS across the main hwy from the dept. store Liverpool. It’s AIR CONDITIONED.

Nice but could be better

This was an October trip. The location of the hotel is excellent on Medina beach. Hotel is charming old world mexican look. Tried to get the hotel to move us to a better room without sucsess even though I was willing to pay. They kept showing us rooms that were the same or worse. The food was not bad, but nothing to brag about here or in Pueblo Bonito Rose next door where prices where high. Ate good food down the beach at other hotels or restaurants. Views were excellent from this hotel and service was good. Overall it was descent but would look for something better on my next trip.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Everything is close, best views and beach in Cabo in my opinion. Lots of neat on the beach restaurants closeby. Walk to downtown and the marina.

Doesn’t Get Any Better Than This!

hotel was very clean, in good condition. checked-in and avoided the "free drink ticket" lady per the other reviewers saying it was a timeshare lure. room was very well air conditioned, kitchenette, microwave, HUGE balcony! would have been a great view of teh ocean if not for the trees blocking. unbeatable location right on the beach and next to water activities.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Mango Deck is a MUST GO!it’s right on the beach, great drinks, great vibe.looked for The Office per other reviewers but was told it shut down due to economy.Giggling Marlin sucked. Cabo Wabo is a MUST GO~great live music.

Pueblo Bonito Blanco a great hotel

While a little older than some other hotels on Medano Beach. Pueblo Bonito Blanco, is a great hotel! The grounds/pool/beach are in great shape. The service is top notch, Pueblo Bonito does a great job teaching their staff english, though I know spanish. Since the hotel is a little older than other hotels on the beach the rooms are not as nice but they are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. It would be nice if the beds were queen size and not full size. The location of the hotel is great, as the marina and most of the town is within walking distance.

Traveler's tip on dining

Many great resturantsare within walking distance. Great food at more resonable prices found at resturants that are not on the marina boardwalk. Look at trip advisor for cabo san lucas resturants.

We definitly recommend this hotel to everybody

On arriving, we recieved a premier upgrade due to the fact that there was a mistake be made. Our free upgrade was awesome, full view of the poolside area and the ocean. We stayed there for 14 day’s, and everything in that hotel was wonderful. The service and the attitude from all the employees was amazing, everybody there were nice, helpful, and pleasant. We traveled all over the world, and this hotel was the best. Pueblo Bonito resorts are great, Las Vegas can learn something from them.

Go to the wal-mart to do your groceries shopping, saves you a lot of money. All the suites have a small kitchen.

Pueblo Bonito and Vacation Ownership Presentation

The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable, the view of the ocean was wonderful. He room was very comfortable and especially the bed was the greatest, with the fluffy matrass pad.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

It was nice to have the pool and all needed accomodations next to the beach. We also went to the Rose to enjoy their pool area. We had a choice of 4 restaurants between Blanco and the sister resort Rose next door. Thanks to the vacation ownership presentations we attended, we saved some money on the meals by getting gift vouchours.

First time in Cabo and can’t wait to revisit!

My boyfriend and I got to the hotel around 4pm and they gave us a free upgrade on the first floor. We didn’t mind since we had very easy access to the pool. We were never hounded by the time share ladies after they asked if we were under 30 (I guess they think we don’t have the money to buy into it). The staff was so friendly and we returned to a spotless room after a day out in the sun. The pool was great and we didn’t have a hard time finding chairs. Even though the cabanas were roped off on the beach, the vendors still tried to get our attention. That was probably the most annoying thing about our stay, but it is out of the hands of the hotel. Just tell them "No, gracias!" and they’ll leave you alone. The view or the location can’t be beat! We walked into the town and marina area mostly every day, either to try different restaurants or go out at night. We can’t wait to return in the near future!

Traveler's tip on dining

Check out Gordo Lele’s Taco Stand (there’s a little white dog that sings to one particular beatles song.. we went there twice!), El Pescador (awesome seafood), Maro’s Shrimp House (ask for a bulldog--most delicious drink in Cabo!) They all serve great authentic food and they’re mostly hole in the wall places and decently priced, unlike the bigger touristy restaurants.

Beautiful Hotel, Will Go Again

My husband and I stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco for 10 days and had a wonderful experience. This is not a "spring break" type of hotel. It is great for families, couples - those not into the partying til 4 am crowd. The hotel is kept up for the "white glove test." The hotel workers are very friendly and always there to help with any questions. They were also great with setting up any activity you would like. We stayed in the 1 bedcroom suite which was extremely comfortable. My only comment would be that there are no rooms with King beds -only doubles. We had a perfect view of the ocean and Land’s End - it was fantastic! Another top point is the air conditioning was good - they do not "limit" how low your air can go - very important feature. Don’t miss Fiesta Night at the hotel - fantastic!! Overall we had one of the most relaxing vacations in a long time and look forward to another visit.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

The rooms have kitchens so it is wise to go to town and get some snacks, drinks, etc. There is a cooktop but no oven, but there is a microwave. The fridge is small but adequate. We even had a couple of dinners we cooked in the room. Great for families or those not wanting to go out to dinner every night.

Pleasantly Surprised

This was our first trip to Cabo. We booked this place last minute (3 days prior to our departure) at a great rate, with low expectations. When all was said and done, we were very impressed with our stay at Blanco. The pictures of the rooms are right on. The location is perfect - right in the heart of all the ocean activities and major hotels and only a 15 minute walk to the downtown area. ALL of the rooms have great views based on the way the hotel is laid out. Our room had two double beds, but it was easy for my wife and I to push them together to make one giant bed even though the two of us could have fit on a double. There was plenty of drawer/closet space, and the A/C worked great. We would definitely stay here again, although there are a lot of great hotels in the area to choose from. You can not go wrong with any of them! Food and activities are a bit pricey in Cabo. The timeshare trip to Sunset Beach is well worth it if you can spare the time. Their pools are incredible, and you have full access to them if you stay at Blanco or Rose. Research timeshare before you go so you know exactly what to expect. If you dont go there with the intent of buying one, then dont buy one! They use all kinds of gimmicks and fuzzy math to reel you in. We received $200 worth of food and $150 worth of activities by completing the presentation (you only have to commit 90 minutes, we reminded our host of that-otherwise they will try to keep you longer).

Great stay...anxious to return

Excellent service and location...within walking distance to town and night life and right on a very nice and swim-able beach. Very friendly staff. Very well maintained. Pool is excellent. You have access to sister hotels as well. One is next door and also has excellent facilities.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

You can save a few bucks by attending the "time Share" tour but be warned...it is not 90 minutes but 4 hours. Prearrange transportation and when arriving at airport, regardless of what they say, go through the airport to outside to your ride. DO NOT STOP! People inside are sales people only.

Very nice hotel and resort

The hotel was spotless, the time share pitch was only on check-in and at no other time. The food at the restaurant was good and the service on the beach was excellent. The private beach area was very comfortable. The location was great to walk everywhere, but you don’t get the noise from town. Our room had a view of the ocean and the balconies were very nice! We plan to stay there next time.

Ideal locatin, 15mn walk from downtown.

Just cameback from Cabo and eager to return.Pueblo Bonito Blanco is the ideal spot. The view from our room on the fourth floor was a dream, we could sit in our balcony and see the Arch. The hotel is very clean, the staff is extremely pleasant, could not be any nicer. The restaurant Cilantro is pleasant, the food good, and the prices are very reasonable. The shuttle from the hotel to the Airport was right on time. Most pleasant vacation ever. I will be more than glad to recomend it.

WOW! WOW! WOW!

This is my first time traveling to Los Cabos and the location of this hotel couldn’t be more perfect. The hotel staff was extremely helpful, hospitable and friendly. Our room and the entire hotel was super clean and smelled of lavender. The food was amazing. I would definitely recommed this hotel and we want to go back soon.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

We went to a Time Share presentation for their other property on Sunset Beach. All you have to do is attend the presentation and you get a free breakfast buffet during and $200 bucks towards your food and drink during your entire stay. We ate free the entire weekend!

Wonderful experience

This hotel was exactly as pictured on Expedia. Great location on Medano beach, walking distance to town. Great friendly staff, good food. The only complaint is the time-share pitch when you check in but that’s manageable. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

Hotel very clean and comfortable. Great location on swimming beach near beach restaurants/bars. walking distance to town. Beware of waiters/bartenders bringing/charging you for drinks you did not order. Send them back and watch your bill.

Grocery club store 2 blocks away. But you have to buy in bulk. Families may want to cab drive to Walmart to stock kitchen for kids.

never again

i have never been treated with such disrespect by a hotel manager. we went to him with a list of issues that we had. we were told to fill out the form and "have a nice day". there are two sister hotels the blanco and rose. we bought a bottle of vodka at the blance for $27 USD then found it for $16 at the rose. same bottle, same hotel chain, different price. they made us check out at 10 am when we left. ridiculous. the place is a joke.

Will stay here next time

I am so glad we stayed here. The location is perfect. It was a very short walk to the downtown area. I heard about other resorts being away from the dowtown and having to take a taxi....didn’t want that. The resort was far enough down the beach to be away from noisy beach bars but not too far to have to take a taxi or long walk. There was direct beach access with excellent service from hotel wait staff. This resort is smaller than the newer ones....which is a benefit. Everything about our stay was superb. We ARE staying here when we return...nowhere else.
