Great staff, beautiful decor, sized for hobbits.
If you wish to spend most time outside it is great. The average sized American may not fit in the shower.

Know what room you are getting
We were given a room on the second floor which was more like a studio apartment for one person. The main living space was barely large enough for two people to comfortably sit, and the bedroom is up a flight of stairs and has enough room for a bed and two night stands. We attempted to switch rooms and at first were told that there were none available. We asked again 15 minutes later, and someone came up to show us another room. This room had no outside windows and only a pair of sky lights. The bath tub was made of small tile and not something one would want to sit in. We opted to stay in our original room and spend more time outside of the room than in, as one would expect when traveling in Florence. I wouldnt stay at this hotel again. One positive side is that the breakfast/dining/bar staff is very nice and extremely helpful.
