Watch out for business meetings
Great place, great setting but they make their living hosting business get togethers. You do not want to be crowded into basement rooms by the latest group. Ask about what groups are staying.

Everything is beautiful - except the rooms
The setting, lake and public areas are very nice. The rooms are small, dark and have small bathrooms.

Way overpriced for what you get
The rooms themselves are like 2.5 star hotels. Only the grounds are spectacular. But, expect a bed that’s 10+ years old, old drapes, and a bare minimum attempt to update (such as putting granite counter tops in the counter in the bathroom on top of the 50 year old wood chest). They are clearly looking at the bottom line...for the price, it was one of the worst deals we’ve ever had.
