Great place to stay
This hotel is kinda secluded and it took a bit to get there but once you get there it is pretty nice. The staff was nice. The free breakfast was really good. The restaurant served some good food. The room was clean and comfy but not anything extravagant. All in all, I would stay here again.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
El Pueblo is a few blocks away, walking distance, where there are restaurants that turn into dive bars at night.

Unless your looking for something cheap...
For the most part- it was ok. Just OK. But its much further away from the airport than expected. There is NO shuttle available to the airport as advertised. The pillows feel like rocks- extremely uncomfortable. The restaurant food ( like most food in CR) is below sub-par. I mean how hard is it to screw up a shrimp cocktail? The shrimp werent fresh like they said, and the cocktail sauce tasted like they dumped a can of clamato on it and served it. We wouldn’t stay there again, but we wouldn’t go back to Costa Rica again either. Pick another country- bet it can’t be any worse.
