VERY ITCHY, and bad hotel service

When I arrived at the hotel, I found it to be very nice, it had an outdoor pool, lots of available parking, it seemed just pleasant. I entered the lobby which had an available computer for the clientele, when I got to the check in desk, I was greeted by a very rude and just fed up employee, who basically just threw me my card to be on my way, I walked outside all the way to the back to find the part of the building that my room was in. On my way I found no business clientele but rather crazy teenagers type of customers. To sum it up my room was big, but the air conditioner was very loud, the response was shut it up and turn on the new one, which left the room very hot. the soap was very old, the towels very small, the sheets, carpet, and furniture extremely itchy, and I think I saw something running around, and. The coffee machine was extremely dirty, it had hair where the water should go. The service was very poor, but old fridge and microwave worked fine.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

The hotel was near lots of local attractions, a hip downtown, and open late restaurants. I believe there are malls and museums near the area, and casinos located maybe 20 to 30 minutes away. For an outside traveler, it does seem like everywhere I went, businesses where trying to rip me off with hidden fees, and supposedly free delivery, just always look at your receipt and keep track of all your cards.

The staff was outstanding.

Without exception, staff were friendly and genuinely seemed to want to help their guests.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Henry Ford Museum. We didn’t make it to the museum because my daughter came down with the flu. But we will go back and will try this hotel again.

not impressed

very poor maintenance. Wanted to get out of it as soon as possible. Bad carpets. Water does not drain well in the bathroom.
