Ramada Gateway Hotel

Disney Lay-over

We stayed at the Ramada for one night. The staff were efficient and helpful. The room was very sizeable and had a large bathroom area, but the carpet in the entire room was damp. We weren’t sure if it was the humidity or if it had recently been steam cleaned. Overall, efficient check in and out procedures and a great location. We had trouble finding the hotel though because there is another Ramada accross the street and aparently this hotel changed its name. The other Ramada Inn workers were not sure if it was the correct hotel. The sign out front said the Plaza, not Gateway.

The sign on the building is not correct. The sign says "Ramada Inn Plaza" but the hotel is the "Ramada Inn Gateway".

Good rates, pretty decent hotel

Everything was ok except that Wifi did not work on the second floor

Run down and not maintained

The bottom of the pool was dark with dirt. Obviously not cleaned. The walkway had someones discarded food that was untouched my whole stay. The rooms were out dated. The toilet was loose at the base and didn’t flush well. The hotel dumpster was overstuffed and our entire stay we were offended by the stench. Buffet breakfast was aweful. The eggs were instant plastic. The bacon even tasted strange. The upolstry on all of the booths in the dining area were ripped and shabby. It appeared we booked a room at a homeless shelter. Never again will we stay at this hotel. It appears nice from pictures and outside but once you arrive it’s unfit to stay.
