I will plan on staying here for my next trip back
The room was amazing. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever had at a hotel hands down. It was a sleep number bed. The only negative I would say is that when I checked in around 1:00 PM the room that I booked was not available. They did give me the option of waiting but due to business needs I had to upgrade.

Very comfortable beds
We upgraded to the select comfort beds and were very satisfied. The bathroom was roomy and the desk area worked well for our laptop. We did not eat in the restaurant, but used the pool, which is in the basement (did not care for the trek). They have a huge fitness area also in the basement. Parking was a problem because of a wedding on Saturday night.
Traveler's tip on shopping
West Edmondton Mall not that far, just remember the front of the hotel is a one way street (north) and that you need to go out the side street left to the southbound street.

Effective remodeling job
Room was thoroughly renovated, except for thermostat, which functioned just fine. Even the ceiling tiles were painted. Bed was deliciously comfortable; room was very clean and lobby made it feel like a much more luxurious hotel than the price paid to stay there. Head-and-shoulders above comparable hotels in quality and value compared to other hotels in the south part of Edmonton!
