MISCOMMUNICATION AT BEST DEFENSE
IT TOOK THE CLERK 45 MINUTES TO CHECK US IN. IT SEEMS THERE WAS A FOOTBALL GAME IN AREA AND THIS PARTICULAR HOTEL BOOKED THE FOOTBALL TEAM AND WE WERE TOLD WE COULD NTO STAY FRIDAY NITE ALTHOUGH WE HAD PREPAID FOR IT. THEN THEY TELL US WE CAN STAY UNTIL FRIDAY "UNTIL THEY DECIDE WHAT TO DO WITH US". THE ROOM WAS FAIRLEY CLEAN, IT CATERS TO CONSTURCTION WORKERS, STILL OK FOR THE PRICE. BUT NOT KNOWING WHETHER WE HAD A ROOM FOR ALL 3 DAYS WAS A REAL BUMMER.THEY WOULD NOT TELL US ANYTHING BEFORE FRIDAY AM, IF WE COULD STAY OR NOT. I CAN TELL YOU NOT HAPPY WITH OFFICE PROCEDURES AND STAFFING MISCOMMUNICTATION
MUST SEE IS THE CHARLESTON TEA PLANTATION, AND THE JOHNS ISLAND ANGEL TREE

Not worth it
We made a sudden and unexpected trip to Charleston due to a family member falling ill. There was constant noise in this hotel, from guests that were up all hours of the night, talking loudly in close proximity to our room while their children ran all around the hotel, to the airplanes flying VERY closely overhead. My husband, myself, and our toddler son all had an extremely difficult time getting any sleep, making an already stressful trip even worse. Room was clean, but very musty smelling. Would not stay here again, and felt it was overpriced.

Just fine for us . . . .
Stayed in mid-June, 2009. Just fine for us since basically just slept in the room and were sightseeing all day long. Bathrooms were completely redone, which was very nice. Sink outside of the bathroom should have been replaced too, but wasn’t in our unit. Otherwise, room was very comfortable and would stay here again. Great location to visit all historical and other sites. Very close to the airport.
