This repeat customer won’t repeat

The upside. Seven Springs is central. Nice, simple layout. But don’t expect staff to go out of their way for you. As in checking in, or simply asking to throw your bags in the door an hour or two before 3 p.m. Secondly, on my last return booking I was shunted into a tiny corner room--even though I booked the room 72 hours ahead--more suited to maintenance closet duty than housing a paying guest. Said room was next to an exit gate: literal heavy metal which clanged each time a guest wandered past my room. When I mentioned the above to staff, plus the fact a returning guest should get a bit of preferential treatment I got a bewildered look. "I won’t be coming back." Wonderful Hotel

The Hotel staff was very helpful and polite. The room was clean and very comfortable. The decor in the room and bathroom new. Very nice stay, would definitely stay again.

Awesome find - loved it!

We’ve stayed at this little gem in the desert twice now, and look forward to returning again soon! The value is incredible, the rooms and grounds were immaculate, the staff very friendly, and the beds are super comfortable! Love the linens and down bed covering. Both times we were upgraded to a suite w/full kitchen at no extra charge. We’ve only been there midweek, so the pool area was very quiet and peaceful. We also like Caliente Tropics, which is their sister property. We like the larger pool at Caliente, but find the rooms at 7 Springs more comfortable. Both are in great locations, have free parking and no surprise charges. Highly recommend both properties!

Nice, but the bathtub was clogged.

7 Springs Inn and Suites was comfortable and had an incredible view. However, the tub was completely clogged and my shower ended up with calf-deep water by the end. Since I was there just one night, I left them a note about it--but if it were a longer stay I’d have something to say one way or the other about maintenance. As it is, I had a nice stay. All other aspects were just fine.

CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!

Best little kept secret in Palm Springs. The rooms are amazing, so clean and crisp. We stayed in the Townhse and were amazed at the setup with the full kitchen. And then upstairs with the couch, coffee table, chair and patio. Plus, upstairs the closet had a small fridge, coffee maker, cups, microwave and both had DVD Player, Radio, nice white robes and big white fluffy beds...so much luxury at a great price!!! We just may re-consider our yearly Vegas trip and come here instead since the Spa Casino is literally two blocks away....walk over and take a cab back :) Thanks 7 Springs....we will be back!!!!

Downtown is just a few blocks away. Spa Casino is on the same street two-three blocks up from 7 Springs Inn.

Horrible Parking Situation

There is insufficient parking when the hotel is over half full. You may be able to park at the hotel if you are lucky to arrive at a time when a few guests are out, if you get there after 8PM you are out of luck. Otherwise, this is a very good hotel and I recommend it.

Beautiful grounds, excellent location, terrific staff. Had a wonderful stay!

About 10 blocks from downtown restaurants and galleries - whether or not that is "walkable" is up to you. Great little diner (John’s) one block west.

Great place

Hotel upgraded our king reservation to townhome when the room wasn’t availbale. Townhouse style is huge amd very nice! Rooms are great. Bottom floor had a very musty smell but the rest was wonderful.

Would definitely return

Clean, friendly hosts, allowed us in before our check-in time, convenient to shopping and other area attractions.

Great mid range hotel in the Desert

I have stayed at the 7 Springs 5 times over the last few months. Love the styling of the rooms, very comfy in a euro style and the air conditioning is always coooold (you need that in the desert). Pool area is nice, good central location, staff is very friendly.

Nice place overall

The hotel overall was very nice. Parking at times could be an issue if you go during a busy time. The room was very clean and the beds were super comfy...but if you are staying for a long period of time; not that your sheets are not changed unless you request it. They just come and make the beds...I didn’t really like that. The room is set up kind of weird and they could have occupied the space better, but I loved the lock box and mini fridge. It was worth the price overall!

Nice place. The nights were noisy due to the people upstairs. They were very load to about 4am both nights we stayed. Rather than that, we really liked the place.

1st trip to Palm Springs 8/09

We arrived early and the room was not ready. The desk clerk called me soon to say the room was then ready and let us check in early. The beds were extremely comfortable. The room was very clean and large. The air conditioner worked extremely well which is important in Palm Springs - it was 116 degrees that day! The hotel is not within walking distance to downtown but is a very short drive.

If visiting on a Thursday night, definitely go to the VillageFest. It’s every Thursday beginning at 7 pm. Eat at a street vendor or get a huge burger and shake at Ruby’s Diner.

Relaxing, refreshing, will definitely return!!

Staff were very nice, the queen size room was exceptionally nice, the cool spa was wonderful on a hot Palm Springs night - which is open until midnight. Laundry room was convenient with supply dispenser (detergent, Bounce, etc). The maid forgot on two occassions to provide face cloths and the bath robe should be kept for your entire stay. It is a small property, private, gated and close to an Episocpalian church, which made me very happy! It was much cheaper than lodging at the hotel in Palm Desert where I was attending a convention. Very close to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway - a must visit!

Los Consuelas - newest Mexican restaurant - downtown Palm Springs, great food, very good service. Definitely a do over.

Misrepresented!

This hotel’s website WAY over toots itself. The rooms were very small. The pool was definitely small. The hotel is NOT in walking distance to main strip. We were very disappointed!

Choose a well-known brand hotel! We learned our lesson!

Excellent overall

The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the main street. No problem getting a parking space, more than enough for all the guests. The garden and pool are great and ver well maintained. The room is really spacious and good looking,with a big walk in closet, fridge, microwave, confortable bed and big tv. The hotel is really quiet, didnt hear a thing during the nigth (and i know there were people in the room next door). Overall an excellent stay, without any problems at all. Great spot in Palm Springs.

A little piece of paradise in the desert

I was absolutely amazed and impressed by this hotel with the low cost and all the amenities. The room was fantastic with the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in as well as a kitchen in the room! The grounds were kept in excellent shape, and my fiancee and I thoroughly enjoyed the pools, jacuzzi, and sauna. The hotel is located in the downtown area making it convenient to get to all the shops and restaurants. This is definitely our new hideaway in the desert.

Great place!

This was a very clean, very comfortable stay for 6 of us! The price was great and the accomodations were even better than the price. I would definitely go back on my next Palm Springs visit!

Nice . . . Especially for the Price

7 Springs is a nice, boutique hotel with great summer rates. Our room was clean with modern design and comfort - the bed was super! The hotel is also very accommodating by allowing 1-night stays (at least in the summer). On the negative, parking is quite insufficient and the plumbing seems to be pretty old. We had to constantly adjust the water temperature in the shower. Overall, it was a good stay.
