Good Inexpensive Place for a short stay
The Pasadena Inn is a quiet convenient place to stay if you are in Pasadena. Our room was a two bed room located on the first floor of this motel. It was large enough for our needs and clean enough for our standards. The location is quite convenient. The largest Whole Foods Store Ive ever seen is located just across the street and old Pasadena is a short walk up the street. We stayed two nights and took advantage of the waffle breakfasts offered on the second floor balcony. The motel is a short drive to the Huntington Library and the Norton Simon and the Gamble House.
The Huntington Library and Gardens is a must see if you are in Pasadena. There is something for everyone and it is easy to spend the better part of a day there just roaming the grounds, checking out the mansion and artwork and rare books. Old Pasadena is a fun place to shop and eat. Stores are of the upscale chain variety and there are plenty of good dining options. What makes this part of town cool are the well preserved buildings from the 1920s that the new stores and restaurants occupy.

Good hotel for a good price
Just a few blocks away from downtown Pasadena makes it a great stop at night. Also right off of the big road - so it is easy to find. The help is friendly, its clean, nothing too fancy but its exactly what you need for a low price. Would come back again.
