plan on driving a distance to restaurants. Wendy’s just down the street and Denny’s across the highway. Not much within walking distance

Quick Problem Corrections
Had two occasions were our key card did not work. On the first they were able to just recode key, on the second we ended up having to wait in another room with just our swim suits at dinner time. It was not to bad they let us get our dinner from there sandwich/goodie store. We ended up staying in the new room because the door lock on original room was broken. The new room was just as nice.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
There is more kid friendly stuff at the International Animal Museum than at the Desert Museum. A lot less walking to.
