I Love It!! We always stay there!!
It feels like home away from home. Whenever we are in Charlotte we stay here. Initially when we started travelling to Charlotte we had stayed at a few other places but nothing compares to Country Inn & Suites. Also, now that they have a no smoking policy its even more comfortable and my mother, who is a smoker, did not complain about having to go outside not once.

Older County Inn
Having stayed at other Country Inn & Suites in the past, I had high expectations for this location as well. The hotel was located behind a restaurant, and judging by the exterior, appeared to be an older hotel. Our room was comfortable, but had the smell of an old hotel room. Sometime during the evening, the smell of some type of vegetable cooking was very strong in the hallway and our room. Parking in front of the hotel was full, so we had to park in back and judging by the neighborhood, I questioned the security of our vehicle. The staff was very friendly and our room appeared to be clean, but overall, I was rather disappointed with the quality of this hotel in comparison to other Country Inn & Suites we have stayed in.

ok for passing through
convenient for us passing through on the way north, but not a place to stay and see charlotte. hotel was a bit "shop worn" but the staff was friendly. conveniently near the airport but noisy until evening flights stopped. obvious smoking in a non-smoking hotel. main concern was the side entrance, guest-key access only, didn’t fully close behind you so anyone could enter the hotel.
