Older Hotel, Get Your Room On The Bottom Floor!

Stayed on the top floor, definitely not the best location of the hotel. Re-located to the bottom floor after 2 nights. Bottom floor (near the pool) is much cleaner, much better view! Rooms are OLD, marble counter tops BUT very old. Bathroom door is terrible and you can see right through the crack. It is a sliding door. Couches are old, sleep number beds are definitely not all that. (Would never buy one for personal use). Breakfast was pretty good! Great selection of food. It starts early so make sure you are up and at em when they open! They do shut the operation down very quickly, food left or no food left. Quitting time is quitting time here. Dinner on the other hand..... well they managed to wreck a prime rib and it was not very good at all. Not recommended. Overall we stayed because of the location to the parks. We checked out a day early (package deal - sacrificed pricing for one night) to book to San Diego and stay there instead. Older rooms, ceiling lamp was dirty, front staff pretty friendly. If the price is right and you do not mind a fair room, this may work for you.

Beach nearby is filled with kids under 18, no drinking allowed.

Very Relaxing Weekend

Really liked the spanish style grounds. The pool had adequate lounge chairs and tables. The rooms were large and comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast for something quick too. For dinners Claim Jumper and Outback are walking distance.

Everything was what I expected. Only the breakfast was not as good advertised (but still quite nice).

The room was beautiful and large, the sleep comfort beds was such a lovely treat. The full breakfast was also great.

Medieval Times (highly recommeded)is right next door and Knotts Berry Farm down the street

The suites were very roomy, clean and comfortable. The hotel is a short walk to Knotts Berry Farm and the morning breakfast was especially good.

Great restuarant, we arrived 15 minutes before closing but the staff insisted on serving us and stayed a little late to ensure our satisfaction.

Not Impressed

Hotel entrance not very appealing and set lower expectations for rest of stay. Though large breakfast buffet, bacon overcooked,& eggs soggy. Had to negotiate for bettter room.

Complementary real breakfast superb

Colonial style hotel made me feel I was in central Mexico or Spain; spacious foye room and bedroom with a tv set on each room. Delicious full breakfast with very friendly chef and waitress. Can’t wait to go back

Hotel is cheap for what it offers. Hope it stays the same. Will recommend to my friends and coworkers.

I loved the hotel! The room was clean and very spacious. Hotel staff was very friendly, I asked them to print me out directions to different places and they did it without any attitude. I felt like I was in a mini paradise, cant wait to go back, will defintely stay again!! Also, wake up early and take advantage of the comp. breakfast, it was excellent...we went back for seconds =)

Great experience

The rooms were excellent; spacious and comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety and was well prepared. Service from the staff was very good. The front desk was very helpful in recommending restaurants and the maintenance people were quick to repair a problem with our door.

This hotel is close to a major attraction with a wide variety of restaurants within easy walking distance. An excellent value for the the money

A Nice Place to Stay

I really enjoyed my stay at the Radisson. The sleep number beds were the best. Over all the hotel is peaceful, clean and the people are polite. Well known coffee shop is right across the street along with several decent restaurants. I did reap the benefits of the free morning breakfast it was fair, for a free meal. I would not recommend the restaurant food-plan to eat elsewhere if you are looking for good food. The pool was enjoyable but not at all heated. Yes i would go back for a second stay. It is centrally located and easy to find.

Great Stay.

Found this hotel on Expedia and looked at previous reviews, and they were right. This hotel is a great place to stay. The rooms are very clean, great breakfast, and it’s within walking distance to restaurants and Knotts Berry Farm. The staff was very friendly and helpful. What impressed me the most was our room and that there were two 32" LCD TVs--one in the livingroom area and one in the bedroom. Another was that these rooms were separate. There was a small kitchenette--microwave, refrigerator, etc. All in all our whole stay was great.

HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN AND HAD ALL THE AMMENITIES FROM HOME. WALKING DISTANCE TO ALL ATTRACTIONS. WILL DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN.

An excellent hotel--I want to go back to California just to stay here again!

We were impressed with the hotel the moment we parked. Free parking is always a great thing, and there’s more than enough spaces for guests. The man at the front desk was very polite and professional, giving us all the information we needed without any hassle. Our room was better than we expected: very spacious, two TVs, a bath with showerhead, a walk-in closet and many drawers, and a Sleep Number bed! Plus, the hotel is only a few minutes walk from Knott’s Berry Farm and only about a 15-minute drive to Disneyland. I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel, and I will absolutely make sure to reserve a room here on my next trip to California!

Wake up early and take advantage of the fabulous complimentary breakfast: eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, pancakes, croissants, danishes, coffee, OJ, cereal, milk... Wonderful!

My second time....

My first experience was better. This second visit, not so great. Although I’ve requested "Non Smoking," my room was reeked with cigarette smell. The service was also not up to par. Although I was at the hotel for two days, and nights, the hotel cleaning staff did not restock the shampoo, conditioner even though it was all used after the first night. Upon request, it took hours, and an additional reminder to get the shampoo!

Very comfortable

The hallway where the elevators were, were old, smelly and worn, other than that, the renovated rooms were great. Continental breakfast was very nice except for lots of little children milling about.

All I look for in a Hotel and more

I wasn’t too impressed by the area that we stayed in but once you walk through the doors of this Hotel it was like walking into a mini island paradise. Due to injury I wasn’t able to get around much so we spent a lot of time at the Hotel and it was fabulous! A wonderful family Hotel. The staff was great, the buffet breakfast was the best "continetal breakfast" that I’ve ever had at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at, the pool was maintained nicely and the tropical plants that are maintained on the premises are beautiful. I recommed this hotel to everyone! If ever I was back in this area, I’d stay here again.

Everything is close by to this hotel. We did have a rental car so we could get back and forth to Newport Beach and we went to Sea World. The Hotel also offers shuttle service to and from Disney, Knott’s Berry Farm and other local attractions. I still recommend a rental car.

Great place for the Money

The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was great!!! The shuttle service was great as well.We will return to this hotel !!!!!!

Pretty nice but could improve

Room was very clean and breakfast was great! Needs some specific improvements: Need towel bars or hooks in bathrooms (none available and end up hanging towels on chairs, beds, floor). Cleaning crew needs to replace dirty cups and mugs every day! Need more than one ice machine for entire hotel! Bathroom near pool needs to be operational! Otherwise, clean comfy room and a good night’s sleep.

Good weekend tourist trip

Clean, spacious room. We had king suite at ground level near pool. Easy walk to Knott’s Berry Farm. Hotel was busy but room stayed fairly quiet at night. I left my keys in the room; within 24 hours of emailing they had them returned. A+ for the staff! Complaints are minor - leaky sink faucet, bed wouldn’t "dial a number" to get softer, no ice in any dispenser (at 10 pm on Saturday night). My husband was disappointed in the TV quality. Free breakfast was very busy Sunday so we walked a block to IHOP.

Great room for the price

Nothing too fancy, but a clean, real two room suite. Free convenient shuttle to Disneyland left and arrived exactly when promised. It’s right next to Pirate’s Adventure, and just a couple blocks from Knott’s Berry Farm. The second room had a pull-out full size bed. Also, the free included breakfast is far superior to standard free breakfasts. Fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, several kinds of cereal. I will definitely stay here again if I can get the same price I paid - even $10-20 more!

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Take the free shuttle to Disneyland. Disneyland charges for parking, and it’s a 10 minute drive including freeway use from the park. So you save gas and parking fee, and the shuttle dropoff is very close to the entrance of the park.

Close to Knott’s Berry Farm. We loved the Hotel. Nice pool and close to shopping & local attractions. Nicely kept rooms.

BEST BREAKFAST

When we arrived, they only had a handicapped room available for us,w hich I thought would be fine even bigger. The room was great but the shower was a nightmare if your not handicapped. The location was great for going to Knotts and had a free shuttle. The free breakfast was amazing and pool, grounds staff very nice. Would go back again, but upset about right room not available.

Make sure you stack up on free breakfast, kept us full all mid morning. There is a fridge and microwave in room, and a walgreens down the street for drinks and snacks.

Good hotel close to parks

Nice hotel, good standard, very good breakfast. In house restaurant not so great- very slow service for evening meal, but you can order a take out pizza, may be a better choice than a sit down meal. Rooms are good standard; a bit dark, and deco is very brown and beige. Overall a good place to recover from a transatlantic flight.

Hotel is within walking distance of Soak City, which is great fun for kids.
