Good Hotel for the Price

Conrad is the Marina area, about a 15 minutes walk from the closest Metro station (City Hall). It has a adjacent mall where there is a Carry-4 and a food court and other restaurant. Hotel breakfast is so so, the room I stayed in was not as large as the ones in Mandarin Oriental, but has a large LCD TV. Overall, I would rate this a bit below 5 stars, but the price I paid is half of the one I paid for Mandarin Oriental.

Great hotel

We arrived at the Conrad at 7 am from South Africa. They had our room ready immediately, and promptly arranged a cot for our 1 yr-old, and provided a bag of bath cleaning goodies for him. Great service! And the bed - which we used that morning and again in the evening, was fantastic. Quiet surroundings, but conveniently located.

Best stay in Singapore

I travel to Singapore quite frequently. The Conrad is my favourite choice. It is probably my favourite business hotel in any city.

Back to basics

Stayed 2 nights and just required basic services and was very satisfied.

Very nice property, fairly satisfactory service, one that you might expect from a 5 star hotel. However during my last stay i spotted a chocolate stain on my side table and it bothered me alot. The spot remained even after my fruit basket arrived and placed on that same table.

We were mostly pleased with our stay. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable with comfortable beds, a large flat screen TV and DVD player, and fresh fruit replenished every day. The teddy bear and rubber ducky were a cute touch, and they also gave us care package for our infant. The hotel is walking distance from the Fountain of Wealth and several big shopping complexes that connect. Also, the double-decker tour bus stop is right across the street. We were able to see the Mer-Lion in the distance from our window. One negative point is that their free wi-fi in the lobby sometimes doesn’t work with Macs. The first night it worked. The next day it didn’t, and the manager on duty was not much help... she basically told me it was my fault for buying a Mac and that all she could do was charge me $30 to use the internet in my room. The manager on duty that evening, however, was much better and sincerely tried to help then offered 24 hours of complimentary internet in our room since they couldn’t get it to work.

"Thai Express" has the best Beef Pad Thai ever! There’s a branch in the food court of the Pan Pacific shopping center across from the Conrad.

One of Singapore’s Best

The beds were extremely comfortable. View was great! The breakfast (which was included in our internet package deal) was fantastic! The green apples were crisp and delicious and a nice touch at the Registration counter as well as the pool and in your room. Close to both the shopping centers and not too far from the MTR station. The Pool staff was very friendly and helpful along with providing water and fresh fruit throughout the day. The Spa was wonderful and relaxing! The workout area is open 24 hrs and has several machines. Free Wi-Fi in the lobby. This was a great hotel and the staff was excellent. They called to notify us that we had a water leak, they had turn off the water for about an hour, but we were going to be out. They left a message when the work was done. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and especially if they run their special 2 for 1 nights! An excellent trip and relaxing trip.

Best I have ever stayed at.

Hotel is top notch in every aspect. Booked a half price deal through expedia. I was not disappointed. OUr reservation included breakfast buffet which was really nice. Will definitely look at staying again, but only if i could get a good deal again.

My new favorite hotel in Singapore

I have traveled to Singapore 8 times in the last three years and stayed in different 5 and 4 star hotels. I must admit my stay at Conrad was by far the best one yet. from the moment I arrived the level of service, attention to detail and cleanliness was quite high. The fact that it is located in the liveliest part of the city, surrounded by nice restaurants and across the street fron Suntec is icing on the cake. Don’t even think twice before giving it a shot :). Mike

Fantastic seafood Buffett!

I usually ate outside the hotel, but my last night I was lazy and decided to stay in. To my surprise I had the best meal all week at their seafood buffet.

the location was right in front of hop-on-hop-off bus main terminal, so very convenient for sightseeing. breakfast was great! so many choice to choose from. waiters were very well trained too. the room was clean and neat. i was able to see merlion from the room i stayed. room amenity come with essential tea/coffer maker as well as some fruits! i loved small yellow duck toy in bath tab.

singapore is known as big city... but there are beaches to relax too! go to sentosa island to enjoy laying down or beach volleyball on the beach as well as going up inside the biggest merlion, it said to be papa-merlion.

We have stayed at premier hotels on four continents but have never encountered service and luxury like we experienced at the Conrad in Singapore. The location is also excellent.

allow me to Check-In at @06:00am after arrived from KL (heavy rain at the time). enjoy the best breakfast for my entire trip (1 month in S. Asia from Hong Kong, Macau Singapore, Malasia, Cambodia, Taiwan, S Korea w/family). will stay Hilton Copenhagen Airport from my coming family’s N. Europe Cruise).

Uh......not good?

This hotel’s Interior is old and location is also inconvenient. Breakfast is no problem. I feel that this hotel does not have enough budget to support this brand image. If you enjoy Singapore, I will recommend you not to stay at this hotel, otherwise you will fight your wife?

Service Beyond First Class

I stayed at Conrad three times, each, one-week long. I cannot wait to go back! The number of smiling faces, people asking to help you out and number of nice surprises is just unimaginable. The service is "Beyond First Class". From the moment I entered the hotel to last second I felt like in different world. The Expedia role does not allow to compare Conrad to other hotels, but fortunatly there is nothing to compare to Conrad. Having travelled across the World I have never experienced similar service elswhere. The hotel is just a minute walk to big shopping Mall and few minutes to Marina Bay. Do not waste a second -stay three!

Noisey

The room is close to elevator and strenge noise can be heard all night long.
