Beautiful water views & outstanding service!
The hotel and suites (rooms) need maintenance (water stains on ceiling in room and cracked walls, etc.), but overall, the hotel is quite impressive and I wouldn’t hesistate staying there again in the future. The service, from the front desk to the staff in the hotel’s restaurant were just incredibly helpful and polite. The hotel is also located within walking distance of the pier and offers great water views from every window.

Love the Halifax Radisson
Have stayed here multiple times in and out-bound when visiting family in Cape Breton (and attending Celtic Colours). Perfect location---easy walk to most tourist sites and harbor. Front desk staff always friendly and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable, especially like the suite concept. Good variety in complementary breakfast although no hot items and not particularly low cal. Will continue to book the Halifax Radisson for future trips
Traveler's tip on dining
One of our favorite restaurants anywhere is Bish, on the water and a very short walk. Sweet Basil’s is excellent---the mussels are deeeeeelicious. Also recommend O’Carroll’s. And, in the summer no visit is complete without a stop at Cow’s, best ice cream in the world!
