Bad location
This hotel is diffucult to find and the surrounding area leaves much to be desired. There is an old empty warehouse directly across the street, a dilapitated building on one side of the hotel, and HUGE power lines on the other side of the hotel. Additionally, there were signs in the parking lot to make sure to take all of your belongings out of your car and lock it. The location made us very uneasy and we switched hotels the following morning. The staff was very pleasant and the inside of the hotel is astetically pleasing.

Great Hotel
This Best western alamo suites is a great hotel for the price, clean, the staff is friendly, and we got a very big room por the price paid, the location is convenient, is close to the tower of las americas, we was in a rented car so i don’t really know about public transport here, but I think is convenient. I would stay again.
Our trip was mainly for shopping, so we went to san marcos outlets (prime outlet and tanger outlet) booth are next to each other, and they have low prices, is located about 45 mins from san antonio. The great thing is that if your not from USA, you can get a tax refound in the outlet, but it is not as much as one can expect, since to qualify you need at least $10 dollar of tax per store.
