Absolutely Wonderful
We stayed at The Georgian over Halloween weekend & it was absolutely wonderful. We were able to check in early on Friday which was a plus. The staff is very friendly, helpful & attentive - always greeting you w/ a smile at every turn. I highly recommend dining at the Veranda for breakfast. We sat out there early Saturday morning, the weather was perfect, the ocean was beautiful & the food (souffle french toast) was fantastic! This hotel has a beautiful & unique decor and in the perfect location for Santa Monica. The best part for me personally was being able to walk outside & the beach was right in front. Can’t beat that! We try to go out to Santa Monica at least once a year & will definitely make this hotel the place to stay for all of our future trips.

friendly stuff
our room was changed to double qeen beds without any problem although we stayed for more than five hours in the one qween bed i booked. breakfast on the terrace was nice and the hotel personnel was helpful in many ways all together a very pleasnt expirience

Beautiful, historic property in an A+ location
The Georgian’s location can’t be beat - directly overlooking the Pacific, two blocks from the Promenade, and a 5 minute walk to the Santa Monica Pier. Hotel staff was friendly and attentive for the most part, but the check-in staff seemed a bit unconcerned about losing our reservation (maybe it’s a California thing). Rooms are updated and very clean and maintain some of the hotel’s original Art Deco stylings (most notably in the bathrooms). Don’t miss breakfast (especially the soufflé) on the front veranda, which is also open at night for cocktails. Parking is convenient and valet is quick, but if you plan on staying in Santa Monica, you won’t be needing it.
