Convenient & Clean
This is a great hotel as it is just far away from downtown Austin to be convenient. There are several local eating establishments and shopping centers that make this a great business professional’s palce to stay. I think their rates are fair (maybe a bit high) but the staff is always friendly and accomodating. I stay here on all of my Ausitn trips.
Traveler's tip on dining
Dave & Buster’s just 5 minutes up the Mopac Expressway. Good food and a huge bar for watching sports.

Absolutely Horrible!
This hotel was simply AWFUL. Waited at the desk to check in for over 15 minutes before someone came to help me. The hotel halls, elevator, lobby, room were filthy. The elevator and hall floors were covered with a sticky liquid that was not cleaned up in the 12+ hours I was staying in the hotel. The entire experience was unacceptable. I would never stay in this hotel again, and would definitely NOT recommend it to anyone else.

Great ..... except my truck got broken into
We were happy with the location, the price, the continental breakfast, the room was very nice, and the hotel staff was nice and friendly, plus the hotel is well kept. The refrigerator in the room could have been a little bit cooler. But when we went out to our truck Sunday morning, we discovered that we had been broken into the driver side window. The thieves stole my stereo and my son’s DVD player. We were not parked right next to the building, but a couple of rows out away from the building. It could have happened anywhere in Austin. But I just thought you would like to know.
Traveler's tip
Park next to the building in a well lit area to decrease the chances of your car getting broken into. Perhaps an auto security system may have deterred them.
