Suprisingly unacceptable
We were there for a wedding so checked in to change and dress for the wedding and didn’t return to the room until 2 am. When we first checked in the temp in the room was pushing 80. We turned the a/c down and didn’t give it too much of a thought. Also, the cable didn’t work, some channels you could hear nothing so you turn it way up and then when you change channels the next one blasted you. We also hoped this was a temporary glitch. When we returned to the room at 2 am the temp was still 80-81 and the cable still was not working. We were too tired to complain at this point so we just suffered thru planning on talking to the manager in the morning. The next day, the manager told us that we could receive no credit since we used Expedia and we should have complained the night before because they would do nothing at checkout. I have stayed at many Marriots and paid the same price for a much nicer room and a full chef prepared breakfast. This one was more like a glorified 1 star hotel.
