Overall, not a bad place
Good size room. Convenient kitchette. Quiet neighborhood. Nice view of the intercoastal. Central Air conditioning system much too loud when it kicks on. Woke me up a couple of times. Overall, not a bad place to stay.

You don’t want to stay here!
Hotel staff not at all helpful. Hotel is deserted, as well as surrounding neighborhood. Hotel is also older, and run down. Stains in the carpet, towels smell like pool water, and just everything in general old, used and run down. Will NOT be back.
November is a great time to go. Fabulous weather, and not so many tourists.

Great price/good location overall
Went to Miami for medical meeting. The hotel was quiet, my room was clean and had a great view of Indian Creek and the draw bridge. Room was large. Don’t know if not many people staying there during my 5 days but I saw very few people. I rode the bus lines up and down Collins for only $2 and did not bother with parking or rentals so saved lots of money. I attended meeting at an expensive hotel on Collins and I was so glad I was saving money at Sixty Sixty and my room was fine. Staff is limited and you must carry your own bags but who cares?? Pool was small but you should walk up the street and enter the beach for gorgeous water and views anyway. Hotel got taxis for me fairly easily when I needed them. I did ask for late check out and the charged me $50 for two extra hours even after I stayed there 5 days which I thought was a bit much but again, I got over it. I still saved lots of $$ staying there as opposed to higher priced places down near Miami Beach. No food there so plan accordingly. I would recommend this hotel for self-sufficient types.
