Hotel is badly run-down and staff response is typically non-chalant and uncaring.

Sixty-Sixty Hotel is badly run-down and staff response is typically non-chalant and uncaring. The hotel is run down compared to previous visits. The bathroom flooded every time the toilet was flushed as water leaked out of the base of the toilet. Double-lock bolt would not engage. No extra balnket or pillow was available for the sofa bed. A number of TV program channels were fuzzy. Coffee cups were not washed/cleaned.

good hotel for its rate, great location

we were a bit disapointed if the cleaning level (old food was left in the fridge, bathroom curtain fealthy), any way these problems wer resolved, and overall we were satisfied.

not too impressed

Big difference from the pictures we saw online and the actual hotel itself, carpet was dirty, and toilet was leaking.

Misc charges

I was charged several miscellaneous charges which were completely invalid. Upon check out, I was handed a bill which included a charge for an extra person. I tried to speak with someone regarding the misc charges and was told I would need to speak with a manager. I have been trying to get in touch with the manager for over a week and everytime I call, I am told he is not available.. The management and staff at this hotel are awful. The are avoidant and add misc charges to your room. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else.

As stated on Expedia website, base rate is for 2 adults. Additional charges for additional occupants will be applied to your account unless otherwise pre-paid online through Expedia. We ask that all guests correctly disclose number of occupants at time of booking

Terrible, don’t trust in photos!

One of the elevators were broken all the time I stayed there, the rooms are really dirty (towels and linens with hair on it!). Seriously, stay in La Quinta Inn or other Inns and you will be much better than here.

"Look elsewhere, if possible!"

Sixty-Sixty is a poorly maintained hotel from the front steps to the guest rooms. It offered no amenities: pool, exercise room, or coffee/food service. The location is on a busy street on North Beach far from restaurants, etc.

No frills, good dollar value.

The hotel was easy to find with the GPS but has a very small sign it seems to be a condo/hotel. The lobby is very minimalist with no maps, brochures, etc. The room was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable. We had a third person with us who said the hide-a-bed was horrible. It was very difficult to get extra towels for the third person even though we booked for three. No coffee pot in our room but our travelling companions in the next room had one. We had an iron and ironing board that wouldn’t fold down. The view was spectacular and the price reasonable for the area. Could use new bedding, paint and a good scrubbing.

Eh, it was mediocre..

The hotel was crammed on the street next to a bunch of other hotels. Although the service was fast when we arrived, that was about all the service they provided. There were no vending machines anywhere in the hotel, and the nearest store was a gas station a bus ride away. The room was quaint and nice for my trip, since I was only in it to sleep. The view of Miami was nice as well, but overall, I definitely would go with a nicer hotel next time.

Not a three star

rather than write a long review ill just cut to the chase. there was a red stain on my sheets that resembled blood and a roach in the bathroom. there is no minibar and i could not get any water to drink from the front desk. there is nothing within walking distance. this is not a three star hotel. it is a 2 star at best. i booked it for the location because i had business north of the beach. i will never book it again and it was not all that cheap anyway. you have been forewarned by a frequent miami traveler.

Not Impressed

This hotel was a horible hotel. The pictures were very deciving. The shower curtin in Mr. Gallego’s room was molded. He called the front desk and ask them if he could get a new shower curtin and the really didin’/t want to do it. So he said if you just bring me one I will install it. When he came back in from being out all day there was a shower curtin left on the bed for him to change. This hotel is in the same catigory as a motel 6. Horrible experience!

Not impressed

I stayed at the Sixty-Sixty 3yrs ago and I had a wonderful time. For whatever reason(s) the hotel has deteriorated greatly.

Find another nearby place.

Staff was non existent and could care less from shift to shift as to whether you were there or not. Getting extra pillow and towels was a chore and they told us they did not have any extras. The view from the deck was nice but the old style cement deck was dirty and you had to stand to see. No sitting on the non existent chairs on the deck.

This was the worse hotel I have eve been to. The service was horrible and the room was nasty. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great deal, but a bit shady.

For the price we paid to wake up every morning looking at the water, to was well worth it. Some things that bothered me were the two tone carpet from where the wheelchair ramp had been inside the room; the carpets were so dirty they turned the bottom of my feet black; their was no over head light or light in the kitchen area; and the pool feels like its in part of the parking garage. The major benefits to our stay was the balcony looking over the water; having a kitchen; large room; and minimal resort fee. Another weird thing is I’m pretty sure there are full-time residents in most of the rooms. Oh, and the doormen are wonderful!!

Stylish and contemporary

We stayed here during the cold snap that reached south Florida, and we were very pleased that the room had its own heating/AC unit with digital thermostat. As a result, we were perfectly warm and cozy. (I felt sorry for the front desk staff however; the reception area did not have heat.) The staff were all courteous and helpful. I was not happy, though, that the restaurant was closed. Why have a restaurant if you’re not going to open it?

not impressed

lots of construction in the area made it hard to get into the parking lot. the staff spoke very little english. during check out we had to wait for the clerk to finish eating to check us out

Can’t wait to go back

I liked the hotel because it was well located. The beach was just one block. The room has a little kitchen very useful for snacks. Even it is not next to the beach it has a great view.

don’t stay here

room was filthy dirty: peanuts on carpet, black hair in shower and on walls, refrigerator filled with frost, hair dryer did not work, balcony very moldy, shower drain was so slow we stood in water to our ankles, shower curtain was slimmy. we demanded a refund and left the property, in the rain. still waiting to hear if we will be refunded. we will see how much help expedia was with these problems.

Nice Deal

For the price we got, the room was fine as was the location, near enough to restaurants and convenience shopping and even the beach. Hotel is not well marked, so it took a bit of doing to find it, but on-premisses parking is was a plus. Only ,minus was the green hallway lighting,which tended to bring on a tinge of seasickness.

Great view

Our corner room on the bay side had great views from two sides of the room. We had a good sized kitchen area complete with frig and microwave...and even some dishes. There is a small balconey wide enough to walk out on and maybe put a couple of chairs. On the bay side there is a wooden dock that you can sit out on and watch as the boats/yachts sail by and wait for the bridge to go up for safe passage. Overall...this was a great hotel for the off season price in Miami. A car is a must as it would be "a serious trek" to get to the touristy areas.
