Amirante Arc de Triomphe
Hotel is ok in quiet street with a bit of a walk to the Champs Elysee/ Arc de Triomph. Restaurants can be found within walking distance. A metro station with direct connection to the Arc de Triomph and the Boulevard Hausmann (Galery La Fayette, Printemps) is at less than 5 minutes walk.

not a four stars hotel !!!
This an average 3 stars hotel. The rooms are small, some of the staff are unpleasant, the breakfast and connection to internet is ridiculously expensive, and the breakfast ceiling room collapsed-- that says a lot about the condition of the hotel.

Very unhappy camper
Upon checking in, I was told that breakfast was included in the cost of the room. I ate the small but filling continental breakfast each of 4 mornings. Upon checking out, they insisted that I owed them the equivalent of $200 for these breakfasts. This culminated in a 30 minute discussion, which I had to end to attempt to catch my train (missed). Visa is still at it with them for this charge. Also, given that this is a 4 star esablishment, one would normally expect the comforter to not be substantially ripped and stained. At the very least, after 2 attempts of notifying the clerk, one would expect these to be changed (which they were not). The hotel itself is very charming. Although very confusing to get to initially (come prepared with mapquest), it is in a charming part of Paris with just enough action and easy access to more, while being quiet and serene. Under different management, this hotel could have been a gem.
