Perfect for a quick getaway
South Seas hotel is very quaint, clean, and perfect for a quick getaway. You won’t get 5 star service here but the front desk is very attentive to your needs. Any time I needed extra towels or other toiletries, they were delivered right away? When I needed directions and suggestions for restaurants, they were very informative. The hotel has a decent pool and cute hammock area in the back that leads you to straight out to the beach. I spent minimal time in the room, but it was good for getting a good nights sleep and having a clean place to get dressed.

Pretty nice but had a little issue....
Smoking is not allowed in the hotel, which is OK you can smoke at the bar,pool and out front, which we did, but left our empty cig packs in the room. They charged us $113 cause there was "evidence" of smoking in the room. DID NOT smoke in the room. Got this resolved after a week of phone calls. Mabye the staff needs to have "real" evidence of smoking before charging! All in all, small of nice place.
Don’t rent a car if you don’t need to. Costs $29 a night to park it. There isn’t much parking in South Beach.
