Get What You Pay For

The hotel is older and not well maintained. If you’re looking for a cheap stay and won’t be spending a lot of time at the hotel, this place is fine. If you need amenities, choose from one of the many nearby hotels that are newer and better kept.

Good For The Price

I think I got one of the unrenovated rooms, but besides that the hotel worked for me. I hate squishy pillows, but they give you plenty to stack ’em up. Service/staff was excellent and they even provide a free car service to surrounding attractions almost around the clock (be sure to tip the driver!). I had to checkout hours prior to my flight and they let me hang around which gave me an opportunity to utilize the pool. If you just need a place to sleep I definitely recommend.

Check out the flea market a few blocks away to get your gifts. All sorts of Florida/Disney stuff cheap.

Cheap hotel in ideal location for Universal Studios

Don’t be put off by the cheap rates available on the hotel. The hotel is well maintained and rooms are comfortable. There are two great benefits of staying here: 1. You can WALK to Universal studios in 15 minutes (not the best walk ever, but saves the cost of parking or hassle of buses/taxis); and 2. The pool side bar offers some of the best sushi I have had. It is made to order, and provides a great change to the usual US motel/hotel options.

Not very clean

The attendant was pleasant. The Room was dirty, the bathroom as well. The carpet was nasty. The water on the tub didn’t run while taking a shower... Nasty.

Great hotel in walking distance of Wet n Wild

This hotel was a lot cleaner than we expected. The front desk lady was really friendly and let me know about the party they have in the tiki bar area every Friday. It can be loud on Friday since there are great deals at the bar and there are a lot of people. BUT there’s valet parking, so there are parking spaces left. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. We were able to take our dogs and there wasn’t a big hassle for that. They have great pet rates (cheapest on I-drive without deposit). I’d stay there again next time!

Probably not a motel for families on the weekends. We had people walking past the door yelling "lets party!" but luckily, I’m a heavy sleeper.

disappointed

The room was neat and tidy but not very comfortable. The bathroom did not look clean, the walls near the floor were crumbling, the tub was dirty looking. Garbage overflowed the trash containers in the hallway and the continental breakfast was bad--there was no toaster available for the bagels and english muffins, no milk for the cereal and the coffee was lukewarm. Being in the tourist district I would have thought that the hotel would have been more appealing and make people want to come back to visit. I guess you just get what you pay for. Next time I will use a different hotel.

Value

This is a nice hotel for the price. Good location,easy to drive to and from. Always request a room facing the pool area, one side of the motel faces the freeway.

Terrible

Just Terrible!!!

One step from homeless for the night.

The only thing this hotel provided was a roof over my head for the duration of my stay. The bed sheets were grossly stained. The toilet rarely flushed. the front of the air conditioner vent cracked off and you couldn’t change the temp. I had to go from the back of the hotel to the front 3 times (out of 4 nights) because neither of my room keys would work. Room service wouldn’t give me towels when I asked for them...they said I had to call front desk. If you are looking for a place to put your head while you sleep, this place is good for the cost. But it is not good for anything else.

You can get something better at the same location and almost the same price

Commons areas need a lot of mantenaince, shuttles take a lot of time because the same bus goes aroud picking up people at several hotels. I won’t use it again, there are other options near by that seems to be in better conditions that this one.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

If you travel by plane, I-ride trolley is a pretty convinient way to move around as well as Lynx transportation and you can buy a visitor pass for multiple travels at a really low cost.

Bath tub dirty and cracked.

It looked nice on the outside, but our room was rundown looking and the bathroom was terrible.

Not what I had in mind

Yes it was cheap, but, I had to buy a big can of lysol to spray every day in the bathroom and the bed... sorry, but everything was worn out, elevators did not work..etc...

shower had black water for like 30 mins, ants all over sink , supposed to check out at 11:00am room service at 8:00 am already knocking . toilet made very loud noises. no microwave , no fridge , the worst part of my trip was the Travelodge!

Clean Rooms

When I was choosing a hotel to stay, I read the reviews and almost everyone said the rooms were clean. That’s why I chose it, and I wasn’t dissapointed. The room smelled clean, the bed’s sheet were not stained, and the a/c unit worked. That’s I was looking for a one night stand. If you are looking for a fancy hotel, this is not your option, but if you are looking for a clean, accesible and reasonable priced hotel, this is the one.

Orlando Hotel

Put us in a smoking room. Air handler was leaking water on floor. Beds were not comfortable. I would definately not stay here again! Walls are paper thin... Spend the money and go somewhere else.

Not good at all

The room is acceptable, but the exterior is awful. Need Maintenance. Not For Family Stay. I recommend this hotel only if you want rest and take a shower.

WHEN I SET UP MY RESERVATIONS, I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS SHUTTLE SERVICE DAY AND NIGHT.SO UNTRUE!! SHUTTLE ONLY RUNS EARLY AM!! I SPENT OVER 25.00 FOR TAXI SERVICES!! ALSO THERE IS A ATTRACTION FEE OF 2.50!!HOW ABOUT A REFUND FOR THE ITEMS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FREE!! THANKS, JEFF
