Convenient to Airport and Train Station, but Get the Shuttle!
I stayed overnight when I had to catch a 6 AM flight out of Manchester Airport. It was close to the Airport and the Train Station, but noise from either was not a problem. Ask for the courtesy shuttle, and don’t try to walk it yourself - the sidewalks are not especially convenient, even if you can see the hotel from where you are standing. I had dinner there which was a mistake. I’ve never eaten such bad food at a hotel in my life. Both my entree and my dessert were sent back mostly untouched. But the staff were nice and helpful and the rooms were fine, so as long as you stay away from the restaurant, you should be fine.

Inexpensive Hotel Very Near The Airport
Because of its location, Bewleys is not a vacation destination but for an overnight getting into or out of Manchester it is excellent. Book on-line to get the best price. Food is somewhat expensive. All staff were very nice and service was excellent.

Traveler's tip
To reach hotel on airport grounds, don’t go up ramp to parking deck or terminal. Stay on road past hotel to roundabout and turn left to get to hotel entrance.
