2nd time at Caravel
I once again enjoyed my time in this hotel. It’s amenities are welcome - a good pool, bar, breakfast and proximity to the sea. I’ll continue to visit here.

Not impressed
I would definitely stay in hotel that’s maybe on the beach or at least closer to town. This hotel is a very long walk to the center of Sorrento and there isn’t much shopping or dining options nearby so you have to take the rail line into the actual town. Also, our room was crawling with ants when we first came in. Apparently b/c of the many lemon trees around but they still should have sprayed before we arrived to ensure we didn’t have a problem. So I felt really disgusted & disappointed w/ our stay there. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Great place to stay
Pool was great -- take advantage of the 4th floor open air deck. Breakfast-- fabulous, especially for our teen-age son. Housekeeping staff outstanding. Front desk staff very knowledgeable, but all that friendly.

Hotel is located on a one-way street... pay attention to the one and only sign on Corso Italia, which directs you to hotel.
