A few small things
It was REALLY cold while we were there and it was hard to regulate the temperature in the room. Also we thought breakfast was included in our Expedia deal, but it wasnt.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Make sure you visit Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park. We saw over 150 elk, many of them fairly close and heard the males calling--an interesting sound.

Nice experience
We where there with 2 boys and had a room with access to the yard. Was nice for them to have an "extra" place to play.

Very nice Fort Collins stay
This Courtyard is on the southern side of town but not too far from the university or Old Town. The staff was super nice and the rooms were clean. The bed was really comfortable and we would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location
We were looking for a nice place to stay during our visit to Fort Collins, and we got our moneys worth. Conveniently located in the South part of the city, this hotel offers many basic features that made our stay truly enjoyable. The hotel decor and ambiance was pretty modern, and the room was spacious, clean and cozy. We had a problem with the tub drain, but we called front desk and they immediately sent somebody to fix the problem. The hotel staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel offers a daily breakfast buffet, but we mainly had breakfast at The Egg and I, which is walking distance from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around the area, including the Foothills Mall which is about 10 mins. from the hotel, and CSU is also very close.

Suited our needs
The hotel was nice and clean. It suited our purpose which was to visit our daughter away at college. My only complaint would be that the bathroom did not have a double sink.

Dont expect any help.
The hotel itself is fine - not too flashy, but comfortable and clean. The service, however, is utterly inconsistent; the woman at the desk in the morning was freindly and helpful, but the young guy at the desk in the evening, while friendly, wasnt as helpful (I needed a bottle opener, he told me I could come get it at the front desk - didnt offer to bring it to me - and when I got to the desk and asked for it he responded, "Do you need one you can take back to your room?" as if Id come all the way down just to get him to open one bottle of Fat Tire for me). The worst by far, though, was the older man on duty at 4:30 a.m. when we straggled in from our delayed, post-blizzard flight. No greeting, no offer to help with luggage despite seeing my wife and I struggling with four bags and a sleeping 15-month-old, no kind words, nothing. Same when I saw him the next night. He alone was almost enough to make me never come back. Oh, and there are no vending machines; instead, theres a concession "market" stand across from the front desk where a Diet Coke costs nearly two bucks. I cant say they were trying too hard. On the other hand, the morning lady gave our baby free milk. Like I said, inconstistent.
