A Very Pleasant Stay
We stayed three nights at the Springhill Suites Hobby over Labor Day weekend, and we enjoyed out stay thoroughly. The free continental breakfast was among the best we have ever seen, with a wide variety of cold and hot foods. My wife wants to know where she can get one of their Belgian waffle griddles that was in the shape of the State of Texas! The thing that most impressed us about our room was its quietness - Being near a major airport, we were worried about being kept up at night by the sound of incoming planes, but we did not hear even one plane over the entire three nights, and we also heard absolutely no noise at all from the adjoining rooms next to us and above us even though the hotel was full with groups of young people during our entire stay, and we were located right next to the pool directly outside of our room. This hotel must have been constructed with really good soundproofing materials! A free computer with Internet is provided for the use of guests, beds were very comfortable, and there is a conveniently located food shop right next to the front desk with snacks available 24/7. Staff was very pleasant, friendly, and accomodating - Can’t ask any more from a hotel than what we experienced!

This hotel is very conveniently located for quickly reaching Houston’s downtown attractions as well as NASA, Reliant Stadium, and the coastal beach city of Galveston - If you are planning activities in any of those places during your Houston visit this would be a good place to stay.

Not impressed
It was clean, good location. But the breakfast wasn’t that good. Bed wasn’t comfortable.And our tv remote didn’t work and we had to call down to the front desk twice to get them to fix it.

Value for Money
I am a regular at most Marriott brands but this is my first time at a Spring Hill suites. For the rate that the hotel was available, it is great value for money. My family of 4 needed a place to crash for the night and this was perfect. The room was clean, spacious, with clean sheets and the rate included continental breakfast. All in all, a nice stay.

Moody’s garden is still under construction.. but parts of it are open... its a great day out for kids.
