Outstanding location

My wife, our two kids and I have stayed at Citadines for five nights last April. The hotel is in a residencial zone. It was very nice wondering around watching the locals in their everyday tasks. Trocadeiro subway station is just three blocks away and the Eiffel Tower is a ten minutes walk from the hotel. By subway you can easily reach all points of interest. We felt very safe even walking late at night. The flat has a bedroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a separeted toilet. We could have stayed much longer because it was pretty confortable. You can buy groceries in the neighborhood with is much more convenient and cheaper than having all meals out. We felt realy like home. The housekeeping was only once a week. No big deal, we were living in Paris we could handle our own everyday mess. I definitly would stay there again.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

The Pizza from Mario’s deliver in the back street was a nice surprise, tasty and affordable.

Great apartment-style hotel with prime location.

First off, this is not a regular hotel. It’s more like an extended stay hotel for business travelers. The base rate does not include daily housekeeping. If you want it, you can pay a fee for it, but if you are not more of a slob when you travel then when you are at home, you should be fine. The location is amazing. It’s on Rue St. Didier, and it’s a short walk to the Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower. My wife and I walked around the tower every night. Convenient to several metro stations, and there is a grocery store across the street if you want to stock up on some food for your stay (I can’t eat out for every meal or I feel terrible). Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a washing machine and dryer on the premises. You can have breakfast added to your bill (i think you can buy a breakfast plan), but there are so many restaurants nearby, you can hit those (or just buy some stuff and make it in your room). The room was in excellent shape. My wife is 6 months pregnant and was literally more comfortable in the fold-out bed than in our bed at home. It’s not a futon, it’s a very good fold out bed that does not feel like one when it is open. Close it up and you have a nice living room area. However don’t expect housekeeping as part of the deal. You are not paying for it. Clean up after yourself and you’ll be fine.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

The kitchen in this room can save you a lot of money. There is a dishwasher, a microwave/grill, a stovetop and a fridge. The dollar is very weak in the EU right now. Groceries really didn’t cost any more than they do in the USA. So, if you want to save some cash, you can do some of your own cooking. There are tons of excellent restaurants nearby, and you are very close to the Eiffel tower, which is a great place to go, especially at night.
