short stay in alabama
Overall the hotel is as expected. My only complaint was that we had a smoking room even though I had requested a non-smoking one. As you soon as you opened the door you can smell the staleness of the cigarettes and that was my wonderful souvenir as well. Everything I had in that room stunk up my house!

Impressed...
The other reviews had me worried about staying here, but I thought the hotel was very good. The people running the office were very helful. The cleaning staff did a very good job each of the 5 day’s that I was there. The waffles were great from the free continental breakfast that was set up in the lobby!!! The only issue is in the heat of Alabama in the summer it is hard to regulate the room temp. Either the AC was on or off, it would be helpful to have a thermostat to regulate the room temperature.
Traveler's tip
Bring a long sleeved shirt if you get cold easily. There is no thermostat to regulate the temp of the room in the summer.
