Worked for us
We decided to take a chance on this hotel because the price was so great. I’ll admit, we were a little nervous, not knowing the area. We were pleasantly surprised. The neighborhood was fine, and for the price, it was a great room. It had obviously been renovated recently and was decorated nicely. The door going in to the room was a little messy; apparently from the renovation. It had dried mudding compound on it, so that was a little odd, but as to the comfort, cleanliness and overall impression, it was a great room for the price we paid.

Simple and Clean
The management is in the process of updating the rooms, and they will be very nice indeed. New granite sinktops and showerstalls are very nice, and the rooms are clean and well-kept. It’s not fancy, and the neighborhood is definitely blue-collar but the people are friendly, the service is fine and I was very satisfied. A good bargain and a nice clean place to go to sleep at the end of a long day.
Laguna Beach is a must-see; lovely little shops and a gorgeous beach!

The ratings were true!
As advertised, the hotel is newly renovated, what you see is what you get. I based my decision to get this hotel from the ratings of the other travelers and now I know why they say what they said. The front desk person made sure my family and I have the the right room size for my family of 6, 2 adults,2 teens and 2 little ones. her pride in owning the place and the staff’s length of service of service gave me assurance they want to give the best service to maintain their rating. Extra towels were immediately handed to us. Our room had everything we needed, my 4 yr old said it felt like we’re at home. Homey indeed compared to the big hotels. This one is priced right and fitted our needs.
