Great Location
This hotel was great based on the value for the location. It is a bit old, and warn, you are on the place du Vieux Marcher... even the name is old. The staff were very kind, and for the price, to be on the Place Du Vieux Marcher was great.

Good value, quiet location on the Vieux Marche
We were very pleased with our stay at the Best Western Vieux Marche in Rouen. Not only was it well marked (multiple signs directed us to the hotel) so we were able to find it easily in a town that can be difficult to navigate, but as advertised, it was right on the Vieux Marche, with restaurants, shops, and all the tourist sights, just steps away. The hotel clerks were friendly, spoke English, and even provided directions back on the freeway. We had two rooms and both were very clean and had ample room. We loved the location and felt it was a very good value.
Traveler's tip on shopping
If you are a chocolate lover, don’t miss the Auzou Chocolatier. They make delicious confections in all shapes and sizes, ranging from cobblestones to lambs. We particularly enjoyed the dark chocolate dusted almonds. Also, ceramics are a historic specialty in Rouen, so watch for ceramic shops with traditional Rouen ceramics.

Excellent location
-Excellent location -Room a little bit small and not 100% clean... -Small closets for long stays -Would like a minibar -No regular Coke in the bar!!!!! -Was not given the best room in the hotel -According to the floor plan I guess I was given the smallest room
