Good Deal
The staff at the front desk were pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean. However, in order to get to our non-smoking room with the luggage cart, we had to go through a hallway of smoking rooms. One of my children and I are very sensitive to cigarette smoke, so that was not pleasant. I have to say, though, that once we went through the two closed doors between that hall and ours (one door on each side of the steps), the smell of smoke was gone. We would return to this hotel if we are back in the area.

Very comfortable stay!
Terrific beds, very nice breakfast and very easy access to University of Delaware make this an all around great hotel.

Good price
The same room next door was $100 more per night, so for our purposes it was a good deal. I felt safe, the lobby was bright and clean, the room was quiet, and the breakfast and coffee were good. On the down side, the room was supposed to be a queen, but I’d swear it was a full. The room was not dirty, but I feel it could have been cleaner and less "shabby." But for the rate we got, and the other positives, it was worth it.
