Hotel Staff is very indifferent
A/C unit was very noisy. Soap scum in tub area. Crumbs on carpet. Hall & upstairs noise. This hotel has poor noise insulation. You have to carry your luggage half way around the building regardless of where you are parked. Hotel Staff requires a Customer Service Class. Indifferent, will not disengage from conversation with other employees while customers are present, no eye contact with customers & appeared to get personally offended with hotel complaints.

Very nice.
The breakfast was very nice. The exercise room was very hot. Overall, had a very nice vist.

Old world charm
We stayed here 2 nights and it was a beautiful hotel on the outside and had old world charm on the inside. Like other places in Spain, the service wasn’t that great. Some of it is the language barrier and some of it is just how the Spanish are. Drinks before dinner in the huge lounge chairs were our favorite time. Make sure you see nearby Tarifa and Gibraltar.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Park on the streets of Tarifa and take a walk around the square and inside to the courtyard shopping areas. We ate lunch here - delicious pizza and a beer. Tarifa has the Mediterranean and the Atlantic on either side of it !

Surprisingly comfortable, earned its name.
Nice pool and jacuzzi. Conveniently located for visits to the Sand Dunes National Park. Excellent shower. Breakfast had a lot of variety and staff kept all the choices re-stocked even on the busiest morning.
