nice, but disorganized
This is a very nice hotel, much better than we expected. The food in the dining room was good and the pub was charming. We had two areas of dissatisfaction. First, they gave us the key to a room that was already occupied. One of us waited with the bags we dragged up outdoor steps in the freezing cold while the other went to get a new room. Second, the dining room is not resistant to cold weather. The big windows have a beautiful view, but cold air pours through them. We were cold at dinner but asked for a table away from the windows at breakfast the following morning. The room was huge and very comfortable. I would like to return in warm weather.
Go during warm weather months when you can enjoy the outdoors.
