excellent hotel
the room was huge, the staff very cordial & helpful. They also provided breakfast which was phenominal. In the evening they had a "happy hour" which they served soup, salad & drinks. All this was complimentary. The price paid for the room was very reasonable for what we got.

Comfortable, convenient and affordable
Located just a short drive from Orlando Intl., the Hawthorne was easy to find. Its lobby was clean and the desk staff knowledgeable and polite. My suite was on the ground floor and while in back of the complex it was located conveniently near an access door facilitating carrying my luggage an easy matter. The suite was clean and comfortable. It had a kitchen with a small but full-sized refrigerator. It also had a microwave, stove, coffee maker and all necessary utensils, cookware and dinnerware. The dining table was large enough to seat 4. The living space was of adequate size with an overstuffed couch directly across from a medium-sized TV. The bedroom was small but cozy with a Queen-sized bed. In the bedroom was a medium-sized closet with extra pillows and blankets though I needed and used neither. The bedroom also had a second TV. The bath was clean and well stocked with all the necessary provisions. Parking was scant but I did arrive after midnight making me a late-comer compared to most, but I did find a spot. Having arrived so late the night before and, considering I was still running on West Coast time, I missed the included breakfast. But that was okay as restaurants in the area were plentiful and nearby. Checkout was easy and uncomplicated as it should be. I enjoyed my stay at the Hawthorne and believe I would have enjoyed it more had I been there longer. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Unexpected surprise, a delight
We stayed with you the night before our cruise and the night after, before our flight home. The suite, hospitality and transfers were seamless. Be assured our first cru ise will not be the last, and you will be on our itinerary. Thanks so much.
