Aways excited about going.
This hotel has improve greatly over the years. Accommodations have been upgraded and the staff is friendly and helpful. It gives a good rate for all the amenities that it now offers.

Met My Expectations
There were no suprises. Everything worked as expected including check-in/out, room, computer use and breakfast. Only maintenance issue was that one of the two elevators was not working.

didn’t help me when I left something in the room
This hotel had an awesome continental breakfast, but the room we had smelled, and was dark and depressing. Also there were a lot of big trucks parked in the parking lot, taking up lots of the spaces. Additionally, I left my wig stand there on the dresser, and when I called a few hours after we checked out to request they look in the room for it, the clerk said he could not do anything about it until the next day. When I called him the next day, he said nobody knew anything about it.

The price is fair enough!
I feel very happy to what I paid for and what I get from it, free breakfast, free parking, very quiet condition ! I will recommend to everybody!

Stay at the side of parking , not the other side which facing 95 highway!

Reasonable Hotel / Horrible location
The hotel room was cleen and comfortable and a reasonable value for your money. A questionable neighborhood but close to everything. The worst thing was that it is an abutter to I95. Their remedy was to provide ear plugs!

Very Pleasant stay
We stayed at the Hallandale BW in Feb-09 and really liked it.The breakfast was really good hotel clean and the staff was very friendly and close to shopping and convenience stores and only 10 min.from the beach.I would recommend this hotel to anyone.J and M from Ohio

Good Location
Hotel was decent. Nice staff and the price was decent comparable to the area. Not the best but works in a pinch.

Good location (only 3 min from I-95)
This hotel is only 3 minutes from I-95 and it was very convenient. I only stayed for one night but the staff gave me an executive room, I had a great view of the city, and the front desk staff were really nice. When I needed menus to order in, they were delivered them within ten minutes and when I was having problems with my business cellphone, they gave me a free charger to use. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody because I will be back soon.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
One more thing, it is best to book this through Expedia because (as I was checking out) I overheard them giving a walk-in guest their best rate and it was $80.00 more than what I paid :(

questionable area
The staff was very nice, and they had a very good breakfast. However, the hotel was very difficult to find and in a questionable area. Also, our room was supposed to be non-smoking, and it had a strong smoke odor. If your on the back end of the hotel, they give you ear plugs because it is close to the interstate.

"Flanigans" is just a mile away. Great food and good prices.

Not at all impressed
The first night was very nice... excellent help and kind. Second night was a NIGHTmare. Toilet was stopped up, had to plunge own toilet. People slammed doors on hallway until 4:10 am despite numerous calls to desk. Clerk didn’t even ask how the stay was on check-out. Just made sure they had their money.

Great Vacation Spot
My husband and I spent 7 days at this wonderful hotel, it was great. The staff is wonderful and vert helpful. I waould recommend this hotel to anyone. You really get more for your money at this hotel. We will be back !

Noisy Hotel
It is extremely noisy if you get a room on the back--it is right on the on ramp to the freeway and all night long you hear cars and motorbikes accelerating on the ramp. I would not go back unless guaranteed a room on the front side.

Decent Accommodations
I’d searched a lot of places to stay and read many other travelers reviews. I found exactly what I was expecting. The hotel was clean. As other reviews stated, there was a slight musty smell in the hallway between the elevator and the room, but since Florida is such a humid state I found this to be expected. As far as the room: It was very clean. There weren’t any weird odors. The bed was comfortable. The air-conditioning/fan worked perfectly. The tub had a few marks on it. (possibly cigarette burns from previous guests) The towels were a bit rough, but they were very white and clean. The love seat was comfy to sit on and watch the tv. Our room had a microwave and a small refrigerator. The continental breakfast was ample. They had the usual muffins, bagels, juice, fruit and cereals. They also had some scrambled egg and sausage circles. (for lack of a better way to describe them) I would recommend this hotel to someone who was looking for a budget, yet decent, place to stay. I would stay there again if I need to stay in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area.
Traveler's tip on dining
For restaurants and nightlife, in the Ft Lauderdale area, we went to Las Olas/River walk. Lots of people watching and some great places to eat. Off the beaten path: eat at Aunt I’s Jamaican Restaurant in Lauderhill. (it appears that there are other local locations also) It’s a small joint with fabulous food. Also try the homemade ginger beer or fruit punch. So good!

A place to stay in Hollandale, Florida
Basic hotel services, convenient location next to I-95, in a middle class neighborhood about 1 mile west of the Atlantic beach and the big hotels and condos of Hollandale.

New Years Eve
The hotel room has a slight odor as though there had been some water damage. Overall the hotel room, staff and facilites were very good. The hotel was quiet for New Years Eve and in the morning.
The hotel is right off of I95. Only 15 minutes to the Ft. Lauderdale airport and on the Hallandale Beach Blvd with resturants, mall. casino and the beach at the other end.
