One night only
The whole time I was there all I could think was, "it is only for one night." The walls looked like someone had raked their fingers across the walls with dirt. The bathroom tub was full of spiders and the refrigerator stunk bad. I usually pack sandwiches and goodies for my family to eat. Thank goodness I didn’t this time. Plus the pool was so felthy I wouldn’t dare swim in it. I will be visiting Savannah again this weekend and I will NOT be staying there again. I will pay the extra 60 to 80 dollars to stay elsewhere.

Not my first choice to return
The hotel is fairly old but they kept the rooms clean for the most part and accepted our small dog without complaints. We arrived and checked into our room and found that the A/C unit was broken. A maintence man swapped out the unit in about 10 minutes with another unit. An hour later that unit failed to work so we asked the desk to switch us to a different room. The next room was fine and we had no more problems. They served a complimentary breakfast the next morning and we were on our way to South Carolina. If you’re looking for a bargain hotel in the area then this is it.

Savannah Fun
We’ve stayed here for the last 2 years during St. Patrick’s Day festivities. It doesn’t take us long to get downtown and there are lots of restaurants close by. It’s also so great to have a fridge and microwave to warm leftovers with. The staff was excellent and the room was spacious and clean. We will definitely be back. The only thing I would say is that it was no fun when the power goes out and the power company doesn’t respond until the next day. Gets really dark and hot at times.
