Was disappointed
We have stayed at the Clarion a few times before. This time, when we came back to our room the next day, the trash can and ashtrays were not emptied. The coffee and creamers were not replenished from the day before. Was quite disappointed.

Impressed and Will Return Soon.
When i got to bakersfield, it was so crazy hot, but i was greeted by a cool, contemporary lobby and a friendly smile. Front desk girl was very friendly and helpful. I didn’t have much expectation with clarion brand but the hotel was nice with a modern feel. The bar was in the lobby so it was nice to get a drink before heading up to the room. The room was clean...not one single piece of hair in my bed, which I’ve definitely encountered at other high-end hotels. All the necessary amenity was there and in the morning, I ended my stay with biscuits and gravy with side of scrambled eggs. Mmmmm. I don’t visit Bakersfield much but when I return, I will go back to Clarion.

Restful stop
This hotel was a surprising stop on my trip. I could not get into my usual hotel, and so this was my next choice. I wasn’t disappointed when I checked in. The room was fairly comfortable and the ease of getting in and out was very helpful. The elevators are very slow. Be ready for that.
