Great, Quiet, Clean Hotel in Convenient Wall Street Location
This is my favorite hotel to stay at when in Manhattan. The rooms are extremely comfortable, clean, and quiet. I stay in the club room usually, which is pretty roomy considering it is their smaller room. There is free Internet access downstairs in the lounge and also on the fourth floor. The staff is very accomodating and the location is great. It is in the heart of the financial district, so on weekend days and most every night, it is very quiet. The 1 train is right on the corner and gets you to the West Village in less than ten minutes. If you enjoy downtown Manhattan, you are only a ten minute walk to the South Street Seaport and all of its wonderful attractions. Depending on when you book, rates vary - it is not the cheapest hotel but sometimes you can get a decent rate. Compared to how expensive hotels in general are in Manhattan, Club Quarters Downtown is worth the few extra bucks thanks to its wonderful rooms and professional staff.
If there is a line to check in, just go straight to the automatic check-in kiosk. Swipe the credit card you booked the room with, follow the instructions, and in less than a minute you will have your card key and be off to your room.

Bad Internet Experience
The room was okay, although I could hear my neighbor coughing. The Internet kept going down, making it hard to work. Worse, however, was that the hotels IP address was on an email blacklist. I sent several emails out in the evening, and many more out in the morning, only to learn that none of them reached anyone. Because the hotels Internet address was blacklisted, mail servers all just deleted the mail without delivering it. It was extremely frustrating.
