Damp
Our room was damp and difficult to sleep in. No matter how high we put the air conditioner, we could not get rid of the humidity in the room. It was like sleeping in a cold, damp Kleenex box. There were stains on the carpet and furniture and we generally didn’t feel like it was a tremendously clean place. We were exhausted from our trip the first night so we stayed, but we left immediately the next morning and had to find alternate accomodations (eating the cost of this hotel). Would never recommend it and won’t be back.

After traveling, it was wonderful to find such a lovely room awaiting us. We are very thankful for the careful attention that made every part of our stay perfect! Beautiful! Thank you again!

The countryside has so many houses and businesses that are kept to the original charm of the era. The best site was the Connecticut State Capitol in Hartford - a must see!
