Nice hotel with issues
Check-in staff person was not particularly hospitable, efficient but not welcoming at all. Room had several "small" deficiencies: my bed side light did not work so I could not read to sleep though my husband’s worked fine, one of the floor lamp bulbs was burned out, the shower was slow to drain so you were standing in a puddle of water within a few minutes, tv was old and small, bed sheets wereold and worn, bed was lumpy. I expected more for the rate we paid. I should have just gone to one of the lower budget motels which were right down the street door that advertised a rate that was $20 less. On a more positive note, the lobby was quite nice and the carpeting and bathroom tile looked like they had been updated recently and were stylish, and the make your own waffles for breakfast was a nice touch. And being able to just walk to the Italian Restaurant, Carrabas (sp) for dinner was a plus since we pulling our RV.

Excellent Choice!
As always La Quinta presented a very satisfying hotel. I stayed there for just one night on my way to Gatlinburg. Everything was perfect; the only exception was the missing fridge in the room. Breakfast was excellent. There is a Carrabba’s and an Outback Steakhouse less than 400ft from the hotel: very convenient!

The Laquinta Inn- Macon, Ga
The Laquinta Inn Macon, Ga is a very nice, clean, and reasonably inexpensive hotel. It was very appropriate for a three day business trip. The Breakfast in the morning was quick and a great treat before heading to the client site in the morning. Great location, friendly and professional staff.
