OK for price
The hotel was not bad for the price. It definitely needs some updates. Each area of the hotel has it’s own unique aroma... Continental breakfast was very sparse. Pool looked a little dingy, kept me out. I liked the patio next to the indoor pool though. Room service came pretty early if you are on vacation. The second day we put our Do Not Disturb sign up so that we could sleep in a little. We took the sign down and left the room by 10am, but they never cleaned it. I called when we got back to the room that night and they did offer to come clean the room then. I declined at that point.

There is a schooner tour in Mystic off of Schooner’s Wharf that was absolutely amazing. The highlight of our trip!

Good place to be
I think this hotel is under-rated. Especially helpful was the night clerk who went well out of his way to be helpful. Staff all courteous and friendly.
