Hotel was very nice, in a great location and the room had an awesome view. It was expensive but its New York City, nothing is cheap.

Great hotel
My husband and I stayed here last weekend. The location cant be beat, but remember - it is Times Square and there are a LOT of people there, so be prepared for crowds at the entrance, especially on weekends and until very late at night (2am-ish). However, the lobby of the hotel is on the 21st floor so you dont hear any noise at night. The standard room was really large for a NYC room and extremely clean. The bed was AWESOME! My husband and I are actually going to purchase one for our home. We slept like logs all night!! The hotel is easily in walking distance to anything in Midtown, the Upper East/West side, Shopping, food, etc. It is also attached to an IMAX theater which was pretty nice, and I think its a good spot for families. We didnt eat at the restaurant and I dont think we missed much by doing that. There is an Applebees at the hotel too (for something quick). Theatres are all around and all within 2-3 blocks. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Try walking wherever you can - NYC is so diverse that just a few blocks can take you into a different time/place. Check out places you normally wouldnt - youll always find nice suprises! And if you walk too far, you can always catch a cab back to where ever you need to be, most fares to places South of Central Park wont run you over $7-$8.
