rent a car to get around, hotel is on southeast end of island, 20 minute drive into town very scenic.

The hotel was suitable but deserted because we went during the off season. The hotel was really struggling with the economic downturn. I would wait until the economy is surging again to go.

Why Not To Stay At The Divi
1) Its completely out of the way and far from town 2) No one is staying at the hotel, so it feels dead 3) They have one restaurant really and its not that good 4) The staff seems depressed 5) The beach is terrible (rocks/seaweed)
Traveler's tip
St. Croix is a struggling island. The water is pretty though and so if you go there you should stay at the Buccaneer. Also, its worth doing one day driving to the beaches in Fredrickstead and bar hopping if your of age.
