Not Bad but would probably go elsewhere.
It was a enjoyable experience. We first got put in the wrong room that had garbage and used soap in it. But the guy at the desk was nice and got us into the right clean room. Not a bad hotel just kinda old. Not bad.

NOT THAT IMPRESSED
We had a room that was too small for four adults to stay in. Had to call to get extra linens almost everyday. Our room was clean and neat but had no where to put any of your personal belongs for a long stay. We were there 6 days. The large storage cabinet was screwed shut and there for one couple got the drawers and the other couple just lived out of their suitcase. Lobby restrooms needed attention, mens room had cockroaches in it the ladys room needed hygiene attention. The breakfast buffet was late most days, but when it got up and running was good. Office personal were helpful and pleasant

Motor Lodge Redux
We spent a perfectly adequate two nights at this "motor lodge" that calls itself the Hotel Blue. It is not a bad place at all and the location downtown and half-way between Old Town and Nob Hill on Rt. 66/Central Ave. cant be beat. Secure fenced parking (free) and internet access (free) is a plus. The 24 hour coffee/tea and the afternoon cookies were also a nice touch. Turns out Im not a fan of Tempur Pedic beds, but this is a touch some might appreciate. It seems like they ran out of money when fixing the place up... Some things are very nice; others just not finished. There was a large empty space in the room begging for a chair. Now that theres an HDTV hanging on the wall, the former TV hole in the cabinets could have been something more than a hole. If you are prone to getting up in the middle of the night and dont want to wake your roommate, take a night light with you. If you turn on the bathroom light, you also turn on the light over the sink in the room. As for the front desk personnel, some were friendly and helpful, others were not. As a convenient place to stay, Id stay again if the price was right. As long as you expect a "motor lodge" vs. a "hotel" youll be very happy. And, try to get a room thats not on the street side of the building. Perhaps those rooms are a bit quieter when the motor cycles roll by...
