A womens trip to see Bette
3 old friends decided to go see Bette Midler. We knew we would be spending a moderate amount of time in the hotel talking in addition to stolling the town. The room was incredibly comfortable and clean. 2 beds in one room with a door and a queen sleeper sofa. Very quiet, well run, attractive. It was perfect for us. The full breakfast on site was a wonderful way to spend a leisurely start to the day. Our only encumberance was getting to the strip. We enjoyed walking, but at times it was a long way to come and go with the obstructions of the giant hotel complexes. The shuttle from hotel only offers two options, the monorail station at the Convention Center and the shopping mall, so lots of transfers to get where we wanted to go. I realize that is the nature of the strip anyway. Once on the strip, the bus system is great for longer distances. Embassy Suites was a wonderful retreat from the insanity of Las Vegas. We stayed 3 nights. Would go back in a flash and I will seek out ES in other cities after this experience. A smart corporation!
The food in Vegas is phenomenal and is one of the most expensive aspects of your trip. Do indulge in that pleasure if fine food appeals to you. Please remember, everyone in Vegas is expecting a tip for their service. Be generous.

Las Vegas Quiet Place
This is an excellent place to stay if you do not want to be down on the strip. It is very quiet and peaceful. The only thing that surprised me was no free internet.
