Very friendly and accommodating
Our family of three was in the area for the weekend. Even though we booked through Expedia, the front desk was very helpful in making sure we got the room we requested. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly personnel. Our room was bright and clean and the king bed was comfortable. We loved the fact that the entire hotel is nonsmoking. The continental breakfast was wonderful! It included make your own waffles, microwaveable breakfast sandwhiches, yogurt, fruit cereal, juice, and more. The employee who kept everything stocked and clean was also very friendly. The only complaints we had were our outside entrance door was unlocked and we had a noisy guest above us, preventing us from sleeping but both issues were resolved immediately. We would stay here again!

It’s a typical Fairfield
This is a typical Fairfield Inn. Unfortunately Battle Creek hasn’t had many new Hotels built in the last 10-20 years so we are stuck with paying slightly higher than normal prices for hotels that are average at best.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Binder Park Zoo is worth a visit. It definitly exceeded our expectations given the size of the community. If you are going to be near Marshall and like Turkey.....you have to go to Cornwells for Lunch/Dinner. Great Turkey sandwiches or dinners (the real stuff not processed), Homemade Pie, etc at a very reasonable price.
