Not the #1 Hotel/Resort in Mexico
After reading the reviews on Expedia and watching the Travel Channel’s Top 10 Mexico Resorts where the Grand Bay was #1, my wife and I were not impressed. Our stay was not bad, just ok but not what we were expecting from what we heard and read. I have stayed in other hotels which I feel are much better in terms of service, hotel amenities & condition. I will not be returning to the Grand Bay.

IT IS ONE OF THE GREATEST HOTLES I HAVE EVER BEEN, BEATIFUL CONSTRUCTION, GREAT PEOPLE, ESPECTACULAR 27 GOLF COURSE, I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK.

Best 5 star hotel ever!
The hotel is fantastic! It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. The comfort of a 5 star hotel and just a 1 minute boat ride (panga boat) across the lagoon for the full on local "Mexico experience". The pictures do not do justice to this hotel.If you do not stay at the Grand Bay you will be missing the best!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Try the food in Barra. Bananas for breakfast. Local street food for lunch. Isadora’s, Alcatraz Bay, Seamaster’s, and Los Arcos for dinner. The hotel breakfast buffet and lunch prices must have been adjusted to compare with the prices in Barra. We did not pay $10 for a hamburger at the hotel.
