Definitely worth a return visit
Excellent location 5-10 min. from the airport. The free and ample available parking at the Monterey Inn was a bonus, as many of the hotels in the downtown core are charging $10 to $20 extra per night. Because of its location you will be able to get anywhere, but as with any big city, rush hour traffic must be taken into consideration. We drive from the resort to Kanata in 15 minutes. However with traffic it was 25 minutes. We did not use the restaurant, as we preferred to try out different places to eat for example a Seafood Grill and Ukranian Rest., both in Nepean only 15 min. Staff was very pleasant, nothing negative. They were eager to accomodate us with a wireless cable and extra linen. The scenery alone is worth to stay there. Just one tip. When you stay in one of the two story buildings you may prefer to reserve a second floor room. We found that it was rather noisy when the second floor guests were stomping around their rooms. Unless, you have a few drinks and are passed out.
